Egg Caramel Custard

Another good recommendation from us is about the dessert, Egg Caramel Custard in Ipoh, Perak which all of you shouldn’t missed out if you have the chance to visit Ipoh. The Egg Caramel Custard of the the Restoran Thean Chun has a lot of very good reviews and highly recommended by local people.

Outlook of this restaurant

This Restoran Thean Chun is the most renowned dessert shop in selling desserts in Ipoh. This restaurant opens daily early in the morning at 8.00 am until 4.30 pm but closed on thursdays. We had also went to taste the dessert too. This restaurant is considered as one of the oldest and most famous shop in Perak state. It is also known as the Hall Of Mirrors.

This is the Egg Caramel Custard, it tastes SWEET and SOFT.

Based on our experience, we went to the restaurant early in the morning, but it was already crowded and we could hardly find a seat. Luckily, we found the seats at last. We also went to ask the owner about the history of the restaurant. The owner of this restaurant said that every morning their restaurant will be very busy during peak hours . We are curious about the recipe of making this delicious Egg Caremel Custard; and so we tried to ask the owner about the “secret recipe”. Unfortunately, the owner refused to tell us because he said that this is the top secret of their restaurant; it had passed on until now from the old generations.

Once you have entered the restaurant, you will smell the aroma of Egg Caremel Custard and you will surely order one of it. The caramel custard is very tasty, enriching with egg fragrance and the sweetness of the custard is moderate. This dessert is very suitable for all age range especially among the girls. If you guys have a chance to visit Ipoh, please do not miss out the chance to try and enjoy this dessert!
