Chicken Bread

Kampar is a part of Perak that involved the most popular food that attract many travelers to have a taste. What is the famous food in Kampar? It must be the Chicken Bread that known by everyone. If you want to have a taste of chicken bread you must visit a restaurant called YauKee Restaurant. YauKee Restaurant has become well known with Chicken Bread and started business in 1983 year. They also created the name of chicken bread as Golden Pillows.

This is the exterior of the chicken bread! It’s look so nice!!! 

What is Chicken Bread? The simple mean of Chicken Bread is chicken wrapped with bread. There have two flavors of chicken bread that sell in YauKee Restaurant which is herbal chicken bread and curry chicken bread. They wrapped inside the bread with curry chicken. It is good and easy to choose a flavor that suits you. Previously, YauKee Restaurant has sold herbal chicken, but it’s no longer available.

Wow!! It’s nice and yummy!



 Let’s talk about the uniqueness of chicken bread of YauKee Restaurant. The Chicken Bread that sells by YauKee is wrapped the curry chicken inside the bread and heat by oven after baking. It is a perfect match for curry chicken with the bread. After you taste it, it will make you unforgettable all one’s life because the bun was simply crispy on the outside and soft inside and goes well when dipped into the curry.

Taa-daaaa! It's the Ice Blended White Coffee! 


The hawker, Mr. Wong has been selling beverages for many years and Ice Blended White Coffee is the most renowned in Kampar. We had already interviewed Mr. Wong about the "golden history" of his business. Mr. Wong started his business as a hawker in Kampar after he came back from United States 13 years ago. He told us that he had once worked as a waiter in one of the cafe shops in U.S. From there, he learned how to make special beverages. He even use those skills he learned from to apply in his business line which is "Ice Blended Beverages". His first try beverages were Ice Blended Fruit Juices like dragon fruit, watermelon, mango and so on as most of his customers are in their middle age and above. Then, Mr. Wong realized that most of the customers prefer coffee as drink together with their breakfast. So, he started to search for coffee powders which suit the tastes of the customers. And finally, there goes the "Ice Blended White Coffee"! He made it and able to attract more customers and so the Ice Blended White Coffee gain popularity and became the most renowned "unique" beverage in Kampar!

There are a lot of customers to serve everyday and you can barely see Mr. Wong resting beside his stall.We’re very sure that you will enjoy the “Towered Ice Blended White Coffee” because it cures the thirst and also consume those soft and icy cold blended ice in a hot weather feels like you’re in heaven! You may be curious why the ice does not fall easily because there’s a straw in the middle to support it. If you're a coffee lover, then you MUST try the Ice Blended White Coffee! If you’re not, don’t worry! There are other flavors that you can choose like dragon fruit, mango, lime + honey + plum, watermelon, Milo and so forth. We have tried the Dragon fruit, Lime + Honey + Plum and also Watermelon flavor. They are really icy-luscious and make you feel refreshing!
